The Lord’s Prayer
https://hebrew4christians.com/Prayers/The_Lord_s_Prayer_1/the_lord_s_prayer_1.html
Praiseworthy words: Thoughts of mine.
When I address my LORD and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, I want to do so with the utmost respect, reverence and protocol. He is the Creator, the God of the Universe of Universes, the Creator of it all, the Supreme Cause/Effect of all things, so I want Him to know how much I love and respect him, how I appreciate him, and what a Glorious God he is.
Even the name LORD is something special. LORD indicates he is the Unbegotten Father, the LORD of the Universe. There is no other God besides him. He is the LORD that appeared to Moses in the burning bush, he is the LORD who led Israel out of Egypt and led them clear across the Wilderness of Sin, and revealed Himself through the Mosaic Tabernacle. He is the same LORD who led them into the Promised Land and sustained them in spite of all their idolatry.
He is the same LORD who revealed himself and called out to Avram/Abraham,
Genesis 15: 9-18, wherein he told Avram to take a heifer of 3 years, a she goat of three years, and a ram of 3 years, and a turtle dove and young pigeon, he instructed him to divide them in the midst and lay each piece one against another, but not to divide the birds. And when the sun went down, and it became dark, behold a smoking furnace and a burning lamp passed between those pieces. He put a deep sleep upon Avram and that day made a covenant with him…….
the same LORD who put Adam and Eve out of the Garden, and he is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He revealed himself to so many countless prophets, priests and kings.
He is the same LORD who proclaimed his name to Moses in Exodus 34: 5-7, revealing his Thirteen Fold Name.
He is also the Creator God who became the Begotten Son, Lord, God, Merciful, Gracious, Longsuffering, Abundant Goodness, Preserver of Bountifulness, Forgiver of Iniquity, Forgiver of Transgression, Forgiver of Sins, Just Judge.
He is the Eternal Father LORD, the Eternal Cause of all things, the Unbegotten Father, with the Begotten Son becoming the Effect of all things.
We may know him as Mamogosnan, Gshemnedo, Zhezhos and many other things we shall touch on in the forgoing pages. He is known to many cultures in just as many names and possessing the attributes of the God of this Universe. He is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent.
He is Merciful, Gracious and Long-suffering: slow to anger……in Hebrew, Erech Apaim. Having a long nose……people who are quick tempered go through strange facial expressions wherein the nose appears to get larger and the nostrils flare, when they get angry…..Jehovah has a long nose—-slow to anger.

Intercessory Prayer
Intercessory Prayer
Intercessory Prayer – What is it?
Intercessory prayer is prayer for others. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another or pleads another’s case. One study Bible defines intercession as “holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God’s intervention.”
Intercessory Prayer – The Biblical Foundation
The Biblical basis for the New Testament believer’s ministry of intercessory prayer is our calling as priests unto God. The Word of God declares that we are a holy priesthood (1 Peter 2:4), a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), and a kingdom of priests (Revelation 1:5).
The background for understanding this calling to priestly intercession is found in the Old Testament example of the Levitical priesthood. The priest’s responsibility was to stand before and between. He stood before God to minister to Him with sacrifices and offerings. The priests also stood between a righteous God and sinful man bringing them together at the place of the blood sacrifice.
Hebrews 7:11-19 explains the difference between the Old and New Testament ministries of the priest. The Old Testament Levitical priesthood was passed on from generation to generation through the descendants of the tribe of Levi. “The Melchizedek priesthood” spoken of in this passage, is the “new order” of spiritual priests of whom the Lord Jesus is the High Priest. It is passed on to us through His blood and our spiritual birth as new creatures in Christ.
Intercessory Prayer – Our Model Intercessor
Jesus Christ is our model for intercessory prayer. Jesus stands before God and between Him and sinful man, just as the Old Testament priests did: For there is one God, and one mediator (intercessor) between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us (Romans 8:34). Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25).
Jesus brings sinful man and a righteous God together at the place of the blood sacrifice for sin. No longer is the blood of animals necessary as it was in the Old Testament. We can now approach God on the basis of the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross of Calvary for the remission of sins. Because of the blood of Jesus, we can approach God boldly without timidity (Hebrews 4:14-16).
Jesus was an intercessor while He was here on earth. He prayed for those who were sick and possessed by demons. He prayed for His disciples. He even prayed for you and me when He interceded for all those who would believe on Him. Jesus continued His ministry of intercession after His death and resurrection when He returned to Heaven. He now serves as our intercessor in Heaven.
Intercessory Prayer – Effective Intercession
In intercessory prayer, we follow the Old Testament priestly function and the New Testament pattern of Jesus – standing before God and between a righteous God and sinful man. In order to be effective standing “between” we must first stand “before” God to develop the intimacy necessary to fulfill this role. Numbers 14 is one of the greatest accounts of intercessory prayer recorded in the Bible. Moses was able to stand between God and sinful man because he had stood “before” Him and had developed intimacy of communication. Numbers 12:8 records that God spoke with Moses as friend to friend and not through visions and dreams as He did with other prophets.
As New Testament believers, we no longer sacrifice animals as in Old Testament times. We stand before the Lord to offer up spiritual sacrifices of praise (Hebrews 13:15) and the sacrifice of our own lives (Romans 12:1). It is on the basis of this intimate relationship with God that we can then stand “between” Him and others, serving as an advocate and intercessor in their behalf.
Peter uses two words to describe this priestly ministry: “Holy” and “royal.” Holiness is required to stand before the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We are able to do this only on the basis of the righteousness of Christ, not our own righteousness. Royalty is descriptive of the kingly authority that is delegated to us as members of the “royal family,” so to speak, with legitimate access to the throne room of God.

In the English language, prayer is largely defined by the idea of asking. In old English one could say, either to God or to anyone else: “I pray thee to do such and such.” The basic concept here is heart-felt request. The Jewish concept of prayer, however, is best defined by its Hebrew word “tfilia” (תפילה).
The primary meaning of the verb “lehitpalel” (להתפלל), the verb behind the noun, is self-judgement or introspection. Especially in Jewish Hassidic traditions, tfilia is understood to be an introspection that results in bonding between the creature and the Creator, as a child would bond with his/her father.
It is not a surprise that when the Jewish Christ was asked by his disciples how they should pray, he taught them what to request, making sure to address their Heavenly King as “Our Father” (Matt. 6:9). Shortly before that Jesus warned them to avoid using vain repetitions that characterized pagan approaches to prayer (Matt. 6:7).
In Isaiah we find a curious text: “… these I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in the house of my prayer” (וְשִׂמַּחְתִּים בְּבֵית תְּפִלָּתִי). Note the wording: not “my house of prayer”, but “the house of my prayer.” (Isaiah 56:7; Barachot 7A) But how is it possible for God to engage in prayer? And with whom?
The answer lies in understanding that Hebrew prayer is not only a “request-making session.” It is a communal bonding between God and his child. The house of “his prayer” is, therefore, where God himself engages in introspection and in so doing bonds deeply with his people. They in turn reciprocate this action in their own prayers and bond with Him.

Ministry of Natural Blood
The Ministry of Natural Blood
Blood in the natural realm is the fluid of life that courses through an animal or a human’s body. After the flood, God expressly and solemnly prohibited man’s use of animal blood for food and drink, although Noah was instructed to use everything else, freely, for food. The Jewish Law also expressly and solemnly forbade the eating and drinking of blood. One reason for this prohibition was that the blood was appropriated by God and held sacred by Him as a covering for sin and as a cleansing power for sin. The Jewish shadows and types abound with the use of blood. The way blood was to be employed was stated in minute detail in Jewish Laws. In the New Testament, the Book of Hebrews sharply and strikingly contrasts the blood that was used as types and shadows in the Old Testament with Christ’s Blood that was shed on the Cross.
By studying some facts about natural blood, one gains a better understanding of the Blood which Christ shed on the Cross. Blood is the “liquid flesh” that circulates by means of the heart through the veins and arteries in the bodies of men and animals. The blood is the vital Principle of Life, and it provides the seat for the soul (nephesh) of man’s terrestrial body. (The term (nephesh) is explained in chapter two.) Therefore, God considers the shedding of blood, the taking away of life in an unlawful manner, as murder. When man unlawfully sacrifices the life or soul of another, in the eyes of the LORD God, the murderer has to assume the responsibility for his act. The miraculous river of “liquid flesh” (which is filled with hormones, vitamins, salts, minerals, sugars, fats, and proteins) rushes faithfully through the body, carrying vital oxygen to the other flesh of the body, feeding and nourishing the body with its rich supply of life. The body’s fragile internal balance depends upon the faithful ebb and flow of the river of “liquid flesh” called blood. In the wonder-working river of “liquid flesh” is the power of healing for the body. As soon as wounds are inflicted in the body, the blood begins to heal, mend, and renew the parts that have been injured. Using the blood’s silvery threads of fibrin to preserve the body, the nephesh soul commands the blood to clot when the body has sustained a cut or abrasion that has caused the bleeding. In the river of “liquid flesh,” God has placed sufficient white cells to act as “little soldiers” to protect the body. In their orderly arrangement, the white cells are able to wage war against the entrance of all microbial enemies. The little “white soldiers” have power to discover, diagnosticate, and devastate millions of deadly microorganisms. To the powerful river of life, called blood, God has given the awesome responsibility and monumental ministry of performing its vital and specific duties of sustaining life. The river of “liquid flesh” or tissues is filled with diverse solid cells, each of which is appointed specific duties by the nephesh soul. The appointed daily list of duties for the blood is absolutely astounding. Daily, it supplies the vital gas and oxygen to each one of the other sixty trillion cells that are in the human body. The river of “liquid flesh” is the conveyer of food, wastes, and hormones that are necessary in maintaining the body’s health. After a person eats, for instance, his river of liquid life rushes to the stomach to help digest food. Then, it also rushes to the lungs to assist the lungs in times of exertion. In times of emotional embarrassment, the blood rushes to the face to help the head because it temporarily has been disconcerted. When the body has been overheated, the river of liquid life rushes to cool it. When the body has been subjected to the danger of freezing, the river of “liquid flesh” rushes to warm it. After this river of liquid life has delivered oxygen to the tissues, the blood becomes red, the carbon dioxide waste which gives the blood a bluish colour having been carried away. The red blood cell, the trusty, energetic servant that carries oxygen and food to the cells, is said to make seventy-five thousand trips between the lungs and the body tissues in four months. After the red cell has sacrificed its life, totally dying in order to give life to the body, it is “gobbled up” by a white cell which breaks it down into a new raw material. Then, the white cell “spits out” what remains of the sacrificed red cell so that the new raw material can be used in the manufacture of more red cells. Therefore, although the sacrificed red cell dies, the end result is that it lives again. These are only a few vital facts about the blood in the natural realm. But, it is plain to see that the existence, the cleansing, the feeding, and the defense of the natural body depend upon this wonder-working river of “liquid flesh” or tissue. Likewise, in the spiritual realm, the existence, cleansing, feeding, and defense of the spiritual man is dependent upon the precious Resurrected Blood of Jesus Christ. Natural blood was sacred to God because it was a shadow and type of the Spiritual Blood of Christ. The Blood of Christ Jesus makes atonement by virtue of the Nephesh Soul of Christ Jesus. In the Old Testament, animal blood (which was the vehicle of the nephesh soul) atoned for sin because the animal soul was offered on God’s Altar as a substitute for man’s nephesh soul. In the New Testament, Christ’s Sacrifice of His Nephesh Soul and His shed Blood have superseded the animal sacrifices offered in the Old Testament. Because blood is the very root of all life in both the natural and spiritual realms, the Blood is God’s Provision for sin. It takes Life or Blood to overcome death and sin. Even before mankind sinned in the Garden of Eden, God in His Foreknowledge provided the Blood Atonement, preparing it from the foundation of the world. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you (I Peter 1:18-20).
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). The corruptible things of this world cannot redeem a corruptible, immortal soul. The Blood of Jesus Christ was God’s great Provision for sin from the foundation of the world. It is possible to perceive the priceless worth of man’s soul by discerning the priceless, precious, Infinite Substance that God used to redeem man’s soul — the Blood of Christ Jesus. The Hebrew word for blood is dawm, meaning to spring up, well forth, a life fluid. Man constantly probes the mysteries of natural blood, and he has discovered many secrets about this marvelous river of “liquid flesh.” Likewise, the child of God continually discovers the secrets of the Life-giving Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ as he studies God’s Word and prays. By the time the student of God’s Word has completed the entire study of the full Stature of Truth about the Blood, he will discover many glorious secrets about God’s Relationship to the Blood of Christ, to the blood of animals, and to the blood of man.

https://anchor.fm/donald-perrot
We all begin life as small children and move through our lives as we grow from babies, to small children, teenagers, adults and finally as elders. We refer to that as the Four Hills of Life as Neshnabek. I was no different growing up as a Neshnabe youth and ultimately to adulthood. Along the way, I beame introduced to many different things that initially were a bit strange to me for I could not speak English until I started school at the tender age of six.
I was educated as a Neshnabe and came to believe in all of the sacred lore and teachings of the early Neshnabek who were my teachers, peers, and leaders of that time. It wasn’t until I was a teenager that I learned of the Message of God being manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ and how he could forgive sin and fellowship with us. Most of what I had been raised with in the way of an early education of our sacred beliefs had to do with a very rigid set of rules, ceremonial observances, and yearly sacrifices. I was taught to believe and trust in this Neshnabe Way of Life and its practices, nothing about a loving God who wanted to fellowship with me.
What I have described was tradition, but it gave me no hope of something eternal, someone supernaturally alive and able to fellowship with me, as well as forgiving me of sins that I committed along life’s way. I was a very strong traditionalist among my people, able to perform all of the required ceremonies, sing all the songs, fasting often for renewal of my spiritual status as a Neshnabe, but never able to have the peace and contentment that Christ gave me upon accepting him as my God.
The Lord God became as real to me as any animal dodem, any friend I had among the Neshnabek I knew then, for he became my friend, my teacher, my comforter, my confidant, and my loving God who loved me for who I was and helped me to become who I am today. I am his creation being constantly fashioned and renewed in the vitality of his Holy Spirit, and he is constantly showing me what I need to repent from to become a better vessel of service for him. It is my intent to make my home with him eternally, forever and ever, to reign with him when he comes to gather me unto himself. That is what he has promised in his living word, known as the Bible.
I look forward to developing a relationship with my friend and God that will ultimately take me through the fires of adversity and beyond. In the scriptures, we learn that we get saved, go through a process of salvation throughout our lives, and in the end, we are truly saved forevermore. It is written, “He that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved” That word “shall” is indicative of being a promissory word that God fully intends to honor to those who overcome this world of sin and the flesh of their being they have to learn to conquer. It is the old nature of sin I speak of that we must learn to overcome if we are to spend eternity with him, our beloved God.
